“Mitchi” Lawana Walker

Great store for needle crafters, especially crocheters & knitters. They have a huge selection of buttons, beads, ribbon & other embellishments, as well as thread, string & yarn. I'm a sewist more than anything, so they didn't have what I was looking for (hand sewing things), but they may have had them behind the counter. I didn't ask them because they were busy with other customers, so this is not their fault. It's also a beautiful store in general.

Too expensive and bad service from the boss. I came in to buy some cotton for a crochet project. Being new at crochet, I was offered cotton at 12 euros for 20 gram of crochet yarn. I asked for cheaper options, but they said this was the price. As I exit the shop, I see other cottons at much cheaper price.

My favorite sewing-related stop of the trip! As an avid sewist and quilter this larger than expected shop had a small but beautiful selection of fabrics and clothing patterns, and walls of trims, buttons, feathers, tools, yarn, bobbles, patches, and so much more. The prices were reasonable (is good craft supplies ever cheap?) and the staff was friendly and generous with their time. Make sure to look closely at their hours as many places close for a long lunch break during the day!

Went briefly today, lots of variety. Service was only a little slow because the employee couldn’t find the charm I wanted but another found it immediately. The salespeople are really nice and speak english too.
