You get what you pay for. Location was perfect, as we were heading to Geode dig at Vickers, just 10 minutes away. Dated rooms with no chairs/table to eat, which the room had so much empty space. Dirty, but not filthy. The bottoms of my feet were soiled in dirt from walking in the room. Bed was great, very comfy. So much light and heat came in through the window, but the a/c was adequate. Breakfast was fair, not a lot of choices, especially if you're looking for low carb. I had toast with peanut butter and oj, husband had a waffle and packet of oatmeal. Price was good, but I believe next time we will pay a little more to get a better room.

Our experience was horrible. Pool was closed. Rooms and hallway smell raunch. Dusty and unclean surfaces. Internet didn't work/ open. Ice machine had a loud constant machine squeek. A neighbor said their room was trashed and they r still waiting for a room at 9pm. Bathroom door didnt lock. Our bed had little hairs all over it. The main ceiling light flickered in a creepy way. They had placed a car air freshener on the a.c. we canceled our 2nd night (bought as a package) and the manager refused to refund the unused night fee.

The outside windows have never been cleaned so it has a rundown filthy appearance. All the employees were very nice. They had a hard time figuring out what rooms were clean at 7 pm, so not very organized and probably very short staffed. The room was surface clean meaning no recent dirt but it looks like someone slapped some paint on without cleaning before doing it. The pool wasn't open and it looks like it hasn't been operational in years even though it says there's a pool. The breakfast consisted of waffles and some bread that looked rather old. Nothing hot. They also didn't have a working ice machine. Really the only good part of this hotel was the friendly staff.

I’m reviewing this hotel on multiple platforms to hopefully warn others to stay away. I wish we had just brought tents and camped in Nauvoo! Hands down the filthiest hotel I’ve ever slept in. I wish I had taken photos of the table in the room with grease and crumbs, the melted ice cream and soda rings in the mini fridge and what the washcloths looked like after I wiped off the nightstand and washed the sticky floor between the beds. If there was anything good, it was how quickly and how willing the apologetic worker was when she brought up new sheets, after I discovered the grass and yellow spots in one bed, black curlies in another, mascara on a pillowcase, and black stains on another set (hair dye maybe). We had 2 rooms. I did get pictures of the missing parts of the door locks, bathroom floors, cigarette on the floor in the breakfast area, the spiderweb on my light fixture and the filthy bathtub. And the sign that said the pool had been closed by the health inspector. Breakfast was considerably lacking. Waffle batter came out like water. There were no bagels, fruit, and a strange taste in the apple juice. And the pool was shut down by the health department. My very patient, kind and tolerant father stated this hotel was a “disappointment all around,” which might be the understatement of the year.

Lamoni Inn & Suites is a hotel.
