I always recommend Lancaster Smiles. Dr. Funk is terrific--doesn't oversell or pressure you into treatments, is kind, does solid work, doesn't rush you, and is overall a good egg. Lisa, the office manager, is wonderful. Deb is an great hygienist--my son loves her as well--she is gentle, has an impressive memory, adapts to each patient. In fact, the entire staff is very customer-focused, positive, empathetic. Yes, they might not participate with every single insurance, but they do work with the majority of them and I find their costs reasonable. Again, they don't oversell, they aren't concerned with flash (which in other practices leads to high overhead that you end up paying for), but they do focus on up-to-date best practices for your dental health. They're very responsive when you call or email with any concerns and genuinely seem to care about you and your family.

I just moved to Lancaster and Lancaster Smiles were super welcoming . I wanted to get my teeth cleaned on a certain day and they told me they did not have availability but will call me if anything changed . Lisa kept her word and called me immediately when there was an opening. So thankful ! The location is welcoming atmosphere and clean . They offer coffee and water while you wait . Even have dairy free creamer which I thought was nice . Danaca did my cleaning . She is super friendly and funny . She made my cleaning a 5 star experience. Will definitely recommend to friends and family 💙
