We had a lovely getaway at Langdon Hall for an overnight and wine tasting. Check- in went very smooth and we arrived at lunch and headed to pool to relax and have lunch poolside. Service and food poolside was very good. Only complaints about whole stay is the pool itself. The pools is small and although we saw them testing water twice while there they clearly need some help on pool chemistry as well the pool fountain is plugged in places so it does not work as well and there were pylons at the stairs that two workers then came and started to work on. They should invest before next season in an overhaul and revisit how to care for water. Wine tasting was Italian themed and enjoyed it but would have appreciated chance to order some cheese or other items to pair vs potato chips provided as palate cleanser. Dinner in the dining room was spectacular from food to service. Our room was lovely and bed super comfortable. Breakfast was very good as well. Husband did the garden tour and really enjoyed it. Overall will definitely be back with a hope the pool will be better next time we come during summer season.

My wife and I are elderly with some mobility issues. We stayed at Langdon Hall for a long weekend and it reminded us of a country estate in southern England of long ago. It is a beautiful property as described in their web site and a table worthy of the Michelin mention fitting for a “Relais et Chateaux”. It is spectacular and the staff members are very friendly knowledgeable and always ready to assist.||We took a room in the main house because it had an elevator. Well, it is very old and called a “lift’ that does not have a call button thus when you wish to go from your room on the third floor to the ground floor or vice versa you must call reception for the lift. ||Our room was very cozy and had all the amenities you would expect as well the best bed we have yet to come across. Good housekeeping with bed turndown in the evening.||The food is nothing short of spectacular as well. Each plate is cooked just for you and includes all the fresh elements from the gardens and hothouses. The service is impeccable and we over indulged accordingly. When they suggest reserving a table for a meal we found that reservations were actually required. ||We took the tour of the gardens and enjoyed it. There is a lovely pool and walking paths covering the huge estate. If you like hiking you will likely enjoy Langdon Hall||We are able to highly recommend Langdon Hall and also recommend early booking in order to select the type of accommodation you would prefer keeping in mind the limited number of rooms available.

This is a belated review, but well deserved. I've been to Langdon hall on several occasions to dine, stay over and enjoy the spa. I booked a reservation this past January during a promotion for a friend and I to go on Sunday March 17th, spend the night, spa and have dinner. Two days before our reservation, I realized I had accidentally made the reservation for Sunday February 17th, and additionally, didn't send the final email with my credit card expiry date which is why I didn't get the final confirmation email. I called in a panic, and explained what I had done, the staff (Maya) was so incredibly understanding and they still had room for the date we wanted so she booked us in for the promotional rate that I thought I booked in January. When we arrived, (2 exhausted moms in much need of a mini break) Josh greeted us at the front desk. He told us he heard about the mix up and wanted to make sure we had a great time so he upgraded us to a suite. Langdon Hall takes care of you! Our stay was amazing, the food was outstanding, and the spa treatments top notch. They even boxed up a couple pastries for my kiddos at the breakfast table the next day. Highly recommend! Josh and Maya - apologies for the overdue review and well deserved shout out, I'll be back soon!

Came here for a wedding and it was luxury at its finest! Everything about this hotel is top notch. The grounds are absolutely stunning, the atmosphere within the rooms, lounge areas, gardens and restaurant is charming. Chef is clearly quite talented and passionate about what he does. Every dish on the tasting menu is beautifully plated, and the flavors are unique, seasonal and very well balanced. Can’t wait to come back for a longer stay!
