I contacted this garage in advance to explain that I was looking to book my vehicle in for a diagnostic as part of a warranty claim. During that conversation I specifically mentioned the warranty and was told this would not be a problem, so I arranged to bring the car in. When I arrived at the garage, I was standing there while the staff continued their conversation with each other before acknowledging me. Once I explained again that the car was there regarding the warranty diagnostic, I was then told that the garage does not deal with warranty companies and that if they were to carry out the work I would need to pay for the repairs myself and then try to claim the money back from the warranty provider. I explained that the whole reason I have the warranty is because I cannot afford the potential cost of repairs upfront. Despite this, I was still asked whether I wanted to go ahead and pay the £80 diagnostic fee. What was most frustrating is that this situation could have easily been avoided. I had already explained about the warranty before bringing the car in and was told it would not be an issue. Had I been told at that point that you do not deal with warranty companies, I would have simply booked with another garage and saved myself the wasted trip. Because of this, I cannot comment on the quality of the work carried out by the garage, as no work ended up being done. However, the lack of clear communication and the way the situation was handled when I arrived made the overall experience with them disappointing.

Alan and his team fixed the issue with my car efficiently. They were very helpful in helping me organise a hire car whilst it was being fixed so that we could continue our journey to Gloucestershire for a few days break. They saved the day!
