I was feeling at the end of my rope with my 3 year old Golden doodle, Monkey. It seemed getting pulled around on walks and constantly apologizing for his aggression toward other dogs was just something I needed to live with if I was going to have this 90 lb fur ball in my life. One session with Mark completely changed my mindset. I am now working toward being the alpha in this relationship and both Monkey and I are much happier for it. Without sacrificing the love and affection I have for this boy, i find our walks so much more enjoyable as he trots along beside me. Basically Mark provided me with the training and Monkey has followed suit. it was worth every penny. I can't wait for our next session. I highly recommend LOTP if you are at the end of your rope!

mark and his crew have performed miracles with Jake, my sensitive, timid and, as a result, UNPREDICTABLE Border Collie. After unsuccessfully working with a positive reinforcement, clicker training, treat bribing trainer, Jake was still a handful. A friend recommended Leader of the Pack due to what he called a "firm approach" to creating "dog manners." EXACTLY what we needed. Starting with two EXCELLENT basic obedience courses (group) we (both of us needed to be trained!) established a foundation of better behavior. We followed this with a membership in the Platinum Collar Club and a 3+ week live-in training while I was living out of the country. The impact: Jake is a more confident pup and I am a more assured owner. We intend to make the most of the membership by following up with more individual training and live-in sessions. Can't wait to continue with Mark and his crew.

I can't recommend Mark enough! His expertise and dedication have been a game-changer for us and our dogs. When we first brought our rescue dog home 10 years ago, she had significant aggression issues, and we were at a loss for how to help her. Mark worked with us patiently, understanding her needs, and helping us build a strong, positive relationship with her. The transformation was incredible. Our second dog became a therapy dog under his guidance. Thanks to his training, he was able to visit schools and hospitals, bringing joy to so many people. Watching him thrive in those environments was a testament to Mark's ability to bring out the best in every dog. Now, we're working with a new “project” rescue dog who is fearful of many things in the world. Once again, Mark has been instrumental in helping us creating a safe space for him to grow. His approach is always thoughtful, calm, and focused on positive reinforcement. No matter the challenge, Mark has been there for us every step of the way. His methods work, and his passion for helping dogs and their families is truly inspiring. We are so grateful for his support and couldn't be happier with the results!

Mark changed our lives with two sessions and I’m excited to continue our training! My dog had been asked to leave a group training course as he showed signs of aggression and bullying. He also showed aggression towards strangers and dogs walking on leash. Mark helped me gain more confidence by teaching me to establish dominance by being ‘the leader of the pack’. He has been the only trainer that gave me concrete solutions to implement a behavior change and they worked wonders. Mark breaks it down in a way that anyone can understand, he doesn’t use lofty dog training jargon and most of his teaching feels like common sense. He has also been the only trainer that asked how I was doing, how I felt about how things were going etc. This helped me learn that my dog is absorbing all of my emotions and that if I’m not clued into how I feel, the dog will be and will react to that. I’m learning to be more self aware and am finding my voice, all of which is benefiting my dog and our training together. He is more obedient, more calm, less fearful and reactive. Lastly, Mark helped me regain hope after I was starting to feel hopeless.
