Ledger and Ladder Studios, LLC

We started working with Ledger and Ladder in the spring of 2021, after a year of being cooped up in our house due to the pandemic, having little ones, and working from home full-time. Not to mention, our house is very small (1400 sqft) and we didn't have a dining area where we could sit as a family or host friends. We were in desperate need of a more functional living and dining area for our growing family. We expressed our desires for more storage, durability (for the kids), and thoughtful, beautiful pieces. Jocelyn and her team delivered on all of these requests and exceeded our expectations of what the space could be. The finished product is not only well styled and beautiful, but it feels so "us" and how our living area should have always looked, but we could never accomplish on our own. Plus, it's very functional and an efficient use of the small space. We can finally sit down at a dining table as a family, and host extended family overnight on the sleeper sofa. We love a good story behind a piece of furniture or painting, and the team searched for those perfect, meaningful pieces for us. Jocelyn's ability to combine old with new is one reason I reached out to her in the first place. She sourced several one-of-a-kind antique pieces as well as unique and custom new ones. The custom dining table is especially interesting with a piece of wood from the Dallas Arboretum, which is a place we love and where we've already made family memories. We felt like Jocelyn really listened to our desires and worked extremely hard to make sure no detail was missed. She was easy to communicate with and very organized throughout the design process. We really loved working with Ledger and Ladder and look forward to working with them on future projects.
