My review is based on my experience in the Starter Company Plus program. While participating, I became concerned that some of my confidential business information might have been shared inappropriately with a local competitor. After careful observation, I had reason to believe these concerns were justified. This was disappointing, as confidentiality is vital to small business owners who are just starting out. That said, if your main objective is to access the grant funding and you are mindful about what information you share, the program could still offer value. For entrepreneurs seeking coaching, mentorship, and strategic guidance, however, the program does not currently meet those expectations. The consultants involved continue to provide the same style of support, which, in my experience, did not align with modern coaching practices or uphold the confidentiality commitments I had agreed to follow. In short: if you want a small cash boost, proceed cautiously. If you’re seeking credible coaching, ethical leadership, or meaningful support, I strongly advise looking elsewhere.
