Terrible experience. John from Getz & Collin in Strathmore was completely unresponsive and did absolutely nothing to help my case. He didn't even try to negotiate a deal and still charged a ridiculous amount for doing next to nothing. Legal Aid was just as bad-both were a nightmare to deal with. If you want proper help, find someone who actually cares and does their job. Worst experience I've ever had

Too be honest these lawyers need to be eliminated by AI summarization on all the case study. Too many false info from their clerk and they will send u invoices for a failed defend. Too be honest AI is generally telling better infos then most of the family doctor/ lawyers working right now. Man if u invest 12 years in to a career r generally judging others then it became a muscle memory to prejudge others.

I called trying to see how to get started with legal aid as the website says to call to apply, this lady answered and I explained my issue and that I wasn't sure how to get started with the process and such, she basically told me "she wasn't a lawyer" and that I need to get a court order and such. I tried to explain that we haven't even been in court yet and I was super confused by the now phone call with her telling me I wasn't supposed to call legal aid even though the website told me to. She was very rude and ended up hanging up on me. :( very disappointed and discouraging.

I was told 15 minutes, it says on site under 23000 or something. I'm in the thresh hold and am looking at jail time. I'm trans and probably am going to die in there. So great. My courts in a month and I'm scared and can't get through..I'll try going to the office but like. I just need help
