My husband, Court and I, dealt with Tenisha for our first mortgage. This was a terrible experience as first time home buyers. We wanted to buy an apartment for 125,000 we got an approval letter with conditions for 160. She told us to put one week for financing on our offer letter. The conditions were to provide a letter of employment and proof of down payment. We did that immediately. Ten days later we still hadn’t received the final approval. Tenisha wasn’t a very good communicator, she also made it seem like we were bothering her. She wouldn’t respond to us. It’s like we were on the back burner or something. Anyways when we finally got on her, the lender came back asking questions like why we have no assets and why we only want an apartment when our income is over $100,000…. Because we have kids and pay $2000 + utilities for rent. Finally we just said nevermind and went with a different broker. Absolutely terrible customer service and a waste of time. We also paid $500 for a condo review document because Tenisha made it seem like it was a done deal and the approval wouldn’t be a problem. She even asked us if we had a lawyer, Court told her he wasn’t going to pay for anything else until we received the final approval. Very stressful experience.
