Valerie HinchliffeWas looking for somewhere different to have lunch while out shopping in Blackpool, and discovered this nice little family-run café just across the road from Abingdon Street Market. The two ladies behind the counter were really friendly and chatty, and warmly welcomed me as soon as I walked through the door. There's a cosy little lounge with comfy sofas, and a separate small dining area. Beautifully decorated for Christmas, with a lovely tree, and festive tablecloths and serviettes. The lunch menu is quite extensive, and includes sandwiches, paninis, salad bowls and light cooked meals. There's a vegetarian/vegan menu, and plenty of gluten-free options. I arrived fairly early when they were still doing breakfasts, so I opted for the full English breakfast, and it was huge! The food was well cooked, piping hot and very filling. Only £9.95, and the price included a mug of tea. There were some lovely cakes on display too, but I didn't have any room for one! The café was quite busy, and it's obviously a popular meeting place for locals. The atmosphere was so relaxed and friendly, I felt right at home! Will definitely come back and try one of their lunches.

Gemma HigsonChose this place because it was the closest to our BnB. We were welcomed very warmly by a nice young man. The breakfast choice of English or Scottish was good. We opted for a small and a large Scottish. The food came piping HOT and so fresh. One of the nicest "cafe" breakfasts we've both had in a long time. It was also packed with locals, so you know ita good.
