Customer experiences
Popular in locals. Nice atmosphere with good service. Food is fine but cocktails are really good. Must try. Overall good experience but I felt manager should not ask for tip if someone is not willing by oneself. I felt embarrassed as server came to our table to ask for the reason why we didn’t include tip as her manager wanted to know. I guess if manager wants tip, he or she should come instead of sending servers to ask from customers. Other than it was nice evening.
What a great lunch!! Fish and chips better than I've had anywhere else. The Sheppard pie that my Mom had was amazing. Then the dessert, fried mars bar. Never had it but always heard about it. Amazing. So was the sticky toffee pudding we had at the table. Staff was so friendly. 100% recommend you try this place out. It's the real deal and won't break the
We went for the first time on Canada Day, of course the place was packed but we still found a place to sit. The waitress was very nice with us although she was very busy with other tables. Sadly our beers got lost in the process and we had to wait a lot of time for them, but it’s OK it was a special day. We ordered sausages rolls with fries and a club sandwich. The sausages were delicious but the big price was for the fries, they were amazing. The club sandwich was good but a little dry (we ordered with white meat). The price was a little higher than expected, but we ate that well that it was ok. I put 4 stars in service because, when we were paying, the waitress was looking for how much tip we were leaving to her, that made us very uncomfortable, because me as a consumer wants to leave the tip I wanted without giving much of an explanation or having a waitress looking at the percentage.
Great service and beer on tap. Love the patio. If you don’t know how to pronounce the name of this wonderful village Irish pub, listen to the 2nd verse of Roisin Dubh by Thin Lizzy.
Lionheart British Pub & Restaurant is a pub.
