Mary is the absolute best! Our beloved sled dog puppy started giving us trouble when he hit adolescence (of course), and we felt we needed professional guidance. After considering a lot of different trainers, we booked a session with Mary--and ended up buying a package. Our pup absolutely loves her! We've worked on stranger danger, demand barking and nipping, and loose leash walking. Mary helped us understand the different triggers at play, and how to parse intersecting issues for the right response. Also, her recap emails after each session--including links to articles and videos--have been invaluable! Our pup has already shown progress in a number of areas, and we feel equipped to keep helping him as he matures. Cannot recommend Mary enough!!

Mary is a treasure of a dog trainer and we're really happy to have found her (I chanced upon this Google listing, and I feel very lucky that I did.) We were looking for a positive reinforcement trainer for our little brat Babka, and she helped him develop into a confident and polite little dog. As much as I tried to rein her in on my own, my beagle/lab always pulled and darted around this way and that on her walks well into adulthood. I was always told that when she got a little older, she'd calm down on walks, but that never seemed to be the case. Luckily, Mary from Listen Up, Pup came by and helped train her, giving me a lot of great tips for how to leash train her more effectively. After being consistent with her training, she's much, much better behaved on walks and listens far better than she used to. I highly recommend Mary and Listen Up, Pup!!!
