Cannot recommend Bumpstart enough. We were completely overwhelmed by what we needed for our impending twins and the staff were absolutely amazing. So knowledgeable, helpful and patient. We ended up visiting several times and going through the different options each time. Nothing was too much bother, and when I’ve popped back with an issue on the pram (supplier problem), it’s been sorted quickly and professionally.

Highly recommend Bumpstart Baby Shop! I visited to look at the next stage car seat for my son, I hadn’t booked an appointment as was only browsing, but there was still someone available to advise me and help me try out different seats. I purchased a car seat and collected at a later date and they were able to install it in my car as well, so helpful!

My wife and I went to Bumpstart Baby Shop after going to other bigger shops and a baby show as we were still confused and overwhelmed with all the options of travel systems. Sue was incredibly helpful and spoke from her own experience and expertise to answer all of our questions. They also offered to check if the pram was able to fit into our car boot, which none of the other shops offered to do. As we made our purchase through them, they also offered to store our order until closer to our due date. We are extremely grateful for their help and we would 100% recommend any parents/expecting parents to visit this shop - it was well worth the drive from Watford.

If you're in the Milton Keynes area or even a little further out (we're based in St Albans and the drive was so worth it) we would 100% recommend this store. We are first time parents to be and Bumpstart Baby Shop made what would have probably been an overwhelming, slightly stressful experience into a fun, informative and reassuring visit. Can't thank Katie enough for her time and patience whilst we were shopping for a Pushchair and car seat. Her service and knowledge made us feel so at ease, feeling like truly valued customers. I recently visited Bumpstart Baby Shop looking for a pushchair for my toddler, and oh how I wish I had found this place sooner! The staff were so friendly and helpful, but not pushy. They gave me the time and space I needed to look around for myself, before offering to help show me different options of pushchair. We discussed my requirements, and the lady I was dealing with selected me 5 different styles to try out, showed me how each one collapsed, then left me to play around with them at my own pace. I really appreciated the time and space I was given to see how each one properly worked, and once I'd whittled down my options we took them outside to try in the boot of my car. Fantastic service, I will be back for a car seat very soon!

I highly recommend Bumpstart Baby Shop. They were one of only a few places that stocked what I was looking for and their price was by far the best! Their customer service is exceptional - when I needed help with my online order, Susan went above and beyond to help me (even filming and sending a video showing me how to attach something to my baby's pushchair). Thank you so much for your help. I will definitely shop with you again!

My husband, mum, mum in law and I visited today to get advice and help on purchasing a pram and car seat. Jen looked after us SO well; I was quite stressed at the start and was completely overwhelmed, given this is our first baby and there is so much choice. Despite this, she was so so patient and knowledgeable about every pram going. She helped us whittle down the choices, wasn't pushy in the slightest, and left us to mooch after giving us everything she could. We ended up trying our pram in both cars to check for fit which was great. We ended up with the Uppababy Vista in Green, complete bundle with all accessories and the cybex swivel car seat. Overall, I can't recommend this place enough; we travelled from Oxford especially and they didn't let me down at all. Thank you for making me feel much calmer and in control ❤️

This shop is a complete gem! Was recommended this place by a friend and I was so pleased to have gone there. The shop operates out of a farm building (don't worry, it's lovely inside, but just don't be out of by the exterior when you arrive). Inside they have a full selection of prams/travel strollers (uppababy, icandy, Nuna, cosatto, running buggies, bugaboo, Joolz, venicci- to name a few). There was a much better selection than the high street stores I have tried- probably over 60 different prams (maybe more)?! They also have a full range of car seats, some (but much less comparatively) nursery furniture including cribs and mattresses etc, and a small section upstairs with bathing items etc. The staff inside were so knowledgeable and kind. The part I particularly valued was being shown the various prams but then being left to just play with them all to help whittle it down. I find pushy sales people incredibly annoying but having been in the shop 3 times, not once have I encountered a member of staff who was pushy in the slightest-they are more than happy to just let you browse. The other service which is incredibly valuable is they will let you try them in the boot of your car (supervised). This was invaluable to us and really changed our mind about some of the prams (and is something we wouldn't have realised at the more major high street stores). Overall I would highly recommend this shop. Only top tip is, leave enough time to shop because it took us over 2 hours getting our head around all the different prams/travel systems!
