Customer experiences
Liv went above and beyond our expectations, both with the food and the service. We ordered the Grilled Broccoli, Steamed Pork Belly Bao Buns, Sunset Roll, and Tan Tan Miso Ramen. Each dish was perfectly balanced in flavor and left us wanting more. Our server, Meaghan, was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel right at home as visitors. We also loved the relaxed lounge vibe of the restaurant, and the prices were very reasonable. This ended up being our favorite meal of the trip, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you for having us!
I’ve been in restaurants where they are trying really hard to be trendy, and I’ve been in restaurants where you understand why they’re trendy. I kind of thought LIV would be the former when I walked in. Loud electronic dance music thumping. Bespoke cutlery. Quirky decor. But the service and the food showed me exactly why it was packed on a Wednesday night. The wait staff were very friendly and attentive. They took note of a food intolerance right away. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered to get one of the sides (Mexican street corn) prepared as an appetizer. We also got the duck bao buns. Both were delicious and plated professionally. The kitchen staff are definitely on their game. The sushi looked incredible in its presentation. The buldak chicken was very good and the catch of the day looked and tasted better than at some of the other high-end places in town that specialize in seafood. Also, don’t pass on the dessert menu. The cotton candy bonsai tree was fun. In the end I barely noticed the thumping EDM.
We had a wonderful experience at this lovely restaurant, especially enjoying their fantastic patio on a sunny day. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting — the perfect setting to soak up the good weather. The service was top-notch: genuinely friendly, attentive without being overbearing, and always ready with a smile. It really added to the overall experience. The food was excellent — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The drinks were just as impressive, with a great selection of cocktails and local brews. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy a great meal, fantastic drinks, and warm hospitality — especially on a beautiful day outside!
Really good asian inspired sharing plates. Would recommend the duck dishes. Sashimi/sushi was very fresh with generous portions. Cocktails were delicious.
LIV is a restaurant.
