Fantastic seafood and a great location right on the water. An even better location if you are visiting by cruise ship like we were today. Very short walk from the ship to the restaurant. Menu had lots of options without being overwhelming. Prices were very reasonable for the fresh seafood they offered and the staff was very helpful and attentive even with the influx of cruise passengers in port on the day. Lots of seating outside with umbrellas for shade and the inside seating was roomy and comfortable. The air conditioning inside felt great on the warm day we were experiencing. I had the a 1lb appetizer of mussels and the haddock tacos with fries and slaw. Everything was delicious. They sell lobsters by the pound and even noted on the menu that an 8 pound lobster may be available. The facilities were clean and well kept including the restrooms. They have a small selection of souvenirs in the entrance that you can browse while waiting to be seated. It looked like there was lots of space to park near the restaurant if you have a car and didn't walk to the location. Overall a great experience, great food and we would definitely eat there again if we are ever back in Charlottetown PEI. Would highly recommend!

I had an unforgettable dining experience at Lobster on the Wharf! The lobster roll was absolutely delicious, the steak was cooked to perfection, and the homemade desserts carrot cake and potato chocolate cake were simply divine. Our server, Joe, was incredibly warm and attentive, making the experience even more special. A huge thank you to Chef Paul for the incredible meal, it was truly a memorable dining experience. We’ll definitely be back whenever we return to PEI.

We had dinner at Lobster On The Wharf and it felt like the PEI meal I’d been craving. Laid-back waterfront vibes, friendly staff, and that salty breeze set the mood before the food even arrived. We went classic with the lobster dinner—sweet, tender, perfectly cooked—and did the full “butter-drip silence” at the table. The chowder was rich without being heavy, and the mussels tasted like they’d just come out of the bay. Service was upbeat and patient, happy to explain sizes and market prices, and they kept things moving even when it got busy. It’s casual, family-friendly, and exactly the kind of place where you linger a little longer to watch the boats. Pro tip: go early or book ahead at peak times, and don’t skip the warm rolls for dunking in that garlic butter. We left full, happy, and already talking about a return visit.

Food here was good definitely give it a try if you’re in Charlotte town. Lobster roll came stuffed with succulent lobster meat and a nice warm soft bun. I am also a clam lover so i had to ordered the steam clams here. The clams were pretty clean don’t think i had a single spec of sand, they were also massive! A must try for shell fish lovers. I was seated inside with an amazing ocean view.
