We were so lucky to find Local Plumbing of Marin! They helped us deal with a big clog that was causing water to back up in two kitchen sinks and the laundry area. Of course all this happened the night before we were suppose to leave on a trip. They took our call after hours (an AI assistant booked a time for us the next day). In the morning the receptionist/scheduler called us to confirm and found the earliest time slot on Local Plumbing's schedule. Plumber Joe Sullivan was able to make it just after 9am, and snake out the clean-outs and the drain, removing a big clog of grease/hair that was the culprit. The washing machine, dish washer and kitchen sinks all drained to and hit the same clog, so it was getting in the way of cooking, dishes and laundry. Joe had it fixed and all the water running smoothly in about an hour. And he tightened the kitchen sink as well. They were incredibly responsive, they provide and estimate before they start the work, and they were pretty affordable, for the service provided. It cost $375 to remove the clog, check all the lines, put everything back in good order. And we were able to make it on our trip, knowing that our house and drains were in good shape. You never want to have a plumbing emergency, but if we ever do again, we'll know who to call! Best of all, they're pretty good friends with other small plumbing companies, who also spoke highly of them.

Outstanding service and workmanship! We needed to relocated an exterior hose bibb and were recommended Local Plumbing by a colleague. One of their plumbers, Phil, came by the next day, talked through the options and provided a very reasonable quote almost immediately following the visit. I truly appreciated how he didn't try and upsell us additional work which the other two other companies who we received quotes from did. We ended up requesting Phil to complete the work following the initial consultation. Sure enough, Phil delivered. The entire experience was seamless. Local Plumbing is now my go-to anytime I need a plumber!

Another satisfying experience with Local Plumbing, who came on short notice yesterday to re-seal my toilet. When I noticed the leak and called them mid-afternoon, Nicole was able to send someone out right away, a big relief so I didn’t have to live with and worry about a leaking toilet all weekend. Phil McGoldrick arrived shortly after my call. He was super nice and very helpful, explained all of the options for the repair, and kept me posted step-by-step as he went along. In addition to being excellent plumbers, it must be a requirement of Local Plumbing management that all their employees are really nice people!
