Great service as soon as we walked into this cute lil spot and a spectacular meal. I also really liked that the owner Marco was out meeting and serving patrons to give the personal touch. Everything we ate was great, including the buns that arrived at the table shortly after we settled. It was a quiet enough atmosphere. We started with Bruschetta Italiana and enjoyed every bite. I had the Fresh Fettuccine in Champagne Cream Sauce With King Prawns and it was incredible.

This place is a gem! They have delicious and authentic Italian food. I love cheese and I love pasta, so I ordered the Locanda rigatoni special in which they finish the pasta off in a giant cheese wheel! So delicious and satisfying. I will definitely come back! I came in a larger group so we ordered a bit of everything and it was all soo yummy. I also ordered the lemon sorbet and tiramisu to finish and it was divine.

We had a lovely meal at Locanda! We really enjoyed the Rigatone alla Locanda that is tossed in the Grana Padano cheese wheel. We also enjoyed the striploin and homemade dessert (chocolate and almond cake). We would eat here again!

If I could give them zero stars I would. We came in 6 people and a baby. To start of- they did not have a high chair- we were ok with this. However, the owner came and instead of starting of with hi ladies he started yelling at us telling us we need to leave by 730pm because he has a party coming. This was not stated as we had booked this reservation two months ago and it was never mentioned. By the owner yelling at us, everyone was staring at us and we felt so upset. There was many ways he could have approached us and be respectful, however, he was so rude it was so upsetting. He also was going on about how he needs to pay the bills and by us being there and ordering main at 645pm when our reservation was at 6 was not well received. Although we had ordered appetizers. -The place is so small and I am concerned that it is not in accordance with the fire department regulations. There is a ledge that can potentially be a tripping/falling risk -not child friendly -rude owner and staff -the food was basic- I can get better food at a fast food place Clearly all they care about is making money and zero about customer experience. We ended up leaving and going to casa America Italian bistro & restaurant. The server is interacting with the baby, brought us a high chair right away. The staff are so kind and friendly. I recommend this other restaurant instead of Locanda. Never going there again.
