Customer experiences
My son has been attending L.A. Fitness Signature, and I’m extremely happy with his progress. He’s working with a private personal trainer who is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and motivating — we can already see amazing results, and he’s only 15! The entire staff is always very polite, welcoming, and professional. The gym is spotless, well-organized, and has no unpleasant odors. Overall, this is a high-quality fitness club that truly feels worth the investment. Highly recommend.
The person working at the front desk was extremely rude and unprofessional. When my friend asked a simple question, they became defensive and even threatened to cancel the membership instead of helping. Their aggressive attitude was completely unacceptable for a customer-facing role. The employee was wearing silver diamond stud earrings — management should easily be able to identify who it was. This type of behaviour makes members feel disrespected and unwelcome, and it should be addressed immediately. While the manager seems pleasant, it feels like the front desk staff take advantage of that leniency and act as though they can treat customers poorly without consequences. The focus of customer service should always be to create a pleasant first impression when entering the gym. Any associate who cannot make members feel welcomed, positive, and energetic should not be assigned to front-line, customer-facing roles.
I had an amazing experience the machines were great and was greeted by a very chill dude named Rayhan who helped us out and was very helpful love this gym will come back (not packed).
I’m extremely disappointed with the customer service at this LA Fitness location, specifically because of the front-desk employee, Sam. The way she treats members is completely unacceptable. One time my mom asked her a simple, normal question, and Sam responded with unnecessary attitude and rudeness. There was absolutely no reason for her to speak to my mom like that. What makes it even worse is that ever since that day, every time my mom walks in, Sam rolls her eyes, ignores her, or acts visibly annoyed just by her presence. My mom now feels uncomfortable walking into a gym she pays for — all because of a front-desk worker who clearly lacks professionalism, basic courtesy, and any understanding of customer service. Sam is the very first person members see when they enter. That role requires someone welcoming and respectful, not someone who makes members feel judged or unwelcome. Her behavior reflects poorly on the entire location and makes it seem like management doesn’t care about the member experience. I’m giving this gym a low star rating specifically because of her behavior. No paying member should feel anxious or disrespected when they walk through the door.
