Pete MartinI had an EV charger installed in the beginning of April 2021. I knew they had a wrong email address for me because I didn't receive an appointment confirmation so I tried to correct it with them. Once the electrician finished the install I tried to pay him but he wouldn't take the money because I had to receive an invoice first. I didn't receive an invoice. I contacted them saying I didn't receive one and told them they still had my wrong email 3 times over the next couple months. Each time I was assured that it would be corrected but it wasn't. I had another electrician come out to fix a problem with the EV charger breaker and tried to pay him but he wouldn't take the money without an invoice. I tried once more but got no response from them. 6 weeks later I get a collections letter in the mail which would harm my credit rating for 6 years. I immediately called the credit bureau who agreed the situation was ridiculous and agreed to rectify the situation without affecting my credit. A couple minutes later I get a call from Goris confirming my email address (I was not shocked to find it was wrong). They had been contacted by the credit bureau and my father ( who has done business with them for years). They had sent many emails to the wrong address and gotten no response for months. They also had my phone number and my address but I didn't receive a single call or bill in the mail about payment. The first proper correspondence was a collection letter. It's too bad because they are very good electricians. But I won't be doing business with them again.
PKA ServicesGoris Electric was contracted to install a home generator and replace the existing panel in a short-term rental I manage. From Joe, who came to quote the job, to Will, Jeff and Dustin who installed everything, I cannot give these men and this company enough stars. They are efficient, professional, personable and patient to explain every step of what they were doing and offer explanations to any questions I had. Goris Electric will be my first call if ever I need one of the services they offer.
