Long Dog Inc., Dog Training and Boarding

Amazing service! I will recommend Long Dog Inc. training to everyone I know. We were considering taking back a dog we had previously given away. We had given him away because he had separation anxiety, and it was too much for me to handle with two young kids. His new owner was experiencing the same thing and asked me if we wanted him back. I knew the only way I could take him back is if I put him through training. Our dog sitter recommended Long Dog Inc. she said she’d taken her dog there and after just a couple of sessions, her dog was a different dog in all the right ways. So I reached out to Heather at Long Dog Inc. Heather was not only incredibly friendly, but she is by far the most knowledgeable dog person I know. She is also knowledgeable with human/dog interaction - meaning when I told her the problems with the dog, she was able to pinpoint the source. She was understanding and empathetic and simply a joy to talk to. If you’re needing training for your dog, look no further. You will not be disappointed!

Heather is absolutely amazing! She’s been giving us private dog training lessons for the past year, and we’ve seen such an incredible improvement with our crazy Cooper. Both of our dogs adore her, and it’s so clear how much love and care she has for them. Her knowledge of dog training is outstanding, and she offers such a wide variety of helpful services. We are so grateful for everything she’s done and look forward to continuing to work with her—and hopefully boarding soon!

Highly recommend Heather. She’s very knowledgeable and passionate about what she does. Being away from our fur baby for 4 weeks was hard, but knowing he was being well cared for while being away for training put us at ease.
