Came here after a gymnastics meet at Kellogg Arena because of the great reviews and this place did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in the door the staff was friendly and welcoming. Stacy was our server and she was excellent! The guys split a Long Island Burger (w/ over easy egg on top—try it) and a Philly Cheese steak grilled cheese. My cousin and I both had omelets. She got a cinnamon roll pancake that she said was beyond amazing. The food came out hot, fresh, crisp and we had no issues with the changes we made, add this/minus that. Such an easy going relaxed environment. We cleaned our plates and are driving home full! If I’m in Battle Creek again would 💯 come back here again! (Pictures don’t do it justice i couldn’t take them fast enough before everyone dived in)

Recently here at work, my job won Long Islands Cafe Local Business Support! I’ve gone into the restaurant a handful of times and can vouch the business and staff there are amazing! The place is very welcoming and the service is great always. As we were catered this meal I can still say the service was top! All of our food was there, from sides to condiments and any specific request, everything we needed and more was accounted for! So thankful for Macie and Zak for not only thanking us with this food but for going out of their ways to make sure our food was well packed, HOT and all in tack at drop off! We appreciate you both 😊

This was our first experience and Long Island Cafe is now our new favorite. Don took great care of us. We had so many questions and EVERYTHING looked so great we had a hard time trying to decide—so we let Don decide for us! He wasn’t wrong. The chicken fried steak and chorizo breakfast burrito—wow! 🤤 My husband cleaned his plate, and that seldom happens. We are already discussing what we are going to try next time, and the time after that, and well, you get the picture. BTW—I’m a spicy girl and their chipotle pepper sauce is the bomb. 🙌

I have never been to Battle Creek before.. and heard this was the best spot to go. That was great advice! Our server, Don, went above and beyond.. and never let the coffee run out. We tried the eggs Benedict, corn beef hash, “tsunami” omelet, and a few of their specials, the blueberry-lemon French toast and the Bacon-Jam-Chicken-Waffle sandwich! Both awesome! It was a FEAST, and we will definitely be coming back. :)
