Steve MorganOne of the best pubs for food in Trowbridge hands down, I had home made faggots yesterday and it was lush! £6.95, absalute bargain, The chili con carne is homemade as well and the best I've tasted, we are regular visitors, highly recommend
Sebastian GorgonKitchen opens from 17:30 from what I experienced on Wednesday, lots of tables were reserved so it's best to reserve a place to sit otherwise you might have little choice and sit next to a rather unfortunate loud crowd which made the experience a little uncomfortable. Staff were very friendly and the service was top notch. Food was pretty good, nothing extraordinary, burger was served without a sauce or salad on the burger, you do however get some salad drizzled with BBQ sauce on the plate with the burger that's meant to be eaten with the fries but I do suggest you put some in your burger to make it better.

Food was homemade and very tasty however my burger had tooo much onion in so maybe a speacil request is needed if your not a onion fan. AbiThe atmosphere appears to suit all walks of life. Often busy without being overcrowded. Served quickly. Staff aren't particularly chatty (in my experience) but come across friendly enough. Just doing their job kind of thing. I have eaten here a couple of times, each time was a pretty bog standard level of food, vegetarian bucket (they offer a chicken bucket too) which was cooked well and filled me up, and ciabatta with hummus. I don't feel you can go wrong with either of these, but still it arrived quickly and was presented well. Clean and presentable bar, ample seating out the back with heating and lovely plants. Overall I would recommend it for a pleasant experience, offering a welcoming pub grub/drinking service. It is one of the few pubs in Trowbridge that offer a consistently good level of service, food and a pleasant environment, suitable for all.
