For 25 years my dental care have been expertly taken care of by the Lord Dufferin teams. I have always experienced excellent service by the various professionals there. The current team is exceptional in all the ways important to me: highly skilled, professional, educational, consistency in timeliness, phone reminders, and authentic friendliness. I rarely do reviews, but I want to collectively express in writing my deep gratitude to Dr. Sam, Dr. Gebrael, Dr. Wolfson and all their assistants; Heather, my best-ever favourite dental hygienist; and all the office personnel - in particular Janet, Monica, and Christina. You have made my many 1.5 hour drives/visits over the past 2 years be pleasurable rather than stressful experiences; knowing that my overall health will improve each time I leave your clinic. I needed root canal surgery. I asked the office staff MANY times if they did direct billing. I submitted my quotes to both of my insurances, called them a week before my surgery and went over it with them to double check that I read it right, and that I would not have to pay anything. Was reassured I read my insurance correct and that my procedure was covered. Even the morning of while sitting in the chair I asked the hygienist to confirm that nothing would be coming out of my pocket for payment and was told my insurance covered my procedure. I finish my surgery and am slapped with a bill of over $1300, then told I have to submit it myself. So after all that I called and confirmed and reconfirmed about direct billing and me not having to pay I’m stuck paying on top of having to submit it myself. When I asked the secretary, she said in only in some cases they submit. This was never told to me. This surgery could have waited, but was told they do direct billing and I was covered, which is part of the reason I used them. I’m so frustrated right now. I’m not sure how much more clearer I could have been and did everything I needed to do, and to slap a bill like this and expect someone to pay after the patient was told they do direct billing is a slap I. The face. The dr was kind, but I would. It recommend this place if you want honest answers about your billing.

All the staff at Dufferin Dental are friendly. I go to Tara, my Hygienist, several times a year. She's thouough & keeps me informed how to keep my gums healthy. Dr. Sam is absolutely amazing. He's rebuilt my Two Front Teeth & has performed many other necessaries. I've never been to a pain free dentist before. Dr. Sam is a specialist at freezing with the needle. I'm so grateful there's a whole team I can depend on & trust to keep my smile its best. I'll continue to be an enthusiastic dental patient here. Thank you. Cynthia
