Books invite all they constrain none Wisdom is the ripest fruit of much reflection … Wow, definitely will return to this library. Modern. Impressive. Spacious. Homeless. I saw two people sat on the opposite bench and looking dozing  off. I jokingly said, hey, that's me, always falls sleep with a book, which in Chinese, means lazy and uneducated. Then when we about to leave an hour later, I saw them at the same location. There is too much to talk about this wonderful library ... but the bathroom trip stands out. I went to the bathroom and a person with big bag was behind me. As usual, I held the door … who thanked me. But for a moment, I wished for more people. Inside the bathroom, one stall has toilet paper filling the gaps. At first I thought it was out of order. But then heard movement ... just not a scene I expected to see in a library. But again, it's what life: see, learn and enjoy.
Outstanding historical building with all the subject matter & digital resources one might need. Plenty of magazines, music CDs, videos etc. for one to review. Bathrooms were acceptable. Parking is crazy as is finding the right lane to get to the correct entrance. I used Four Forty Four garage & four less than 41/2 hrs paid $40. It was very close to the library & appeared to be a safe, reliable building.
Came here as an off the beaten path destination. Joined the free 1-hr guided docent tour. Was awesome and really enjoyed it. Check the website for availability Worth the detour and highly recommended!
