Alhamdulillah this humble masjid is alive with five times daily prayers with taalim after zohor and after isya', visitation of muslims once a week, 2 shifts for Jumaah Prayer starting from 1pm weekly. Open early around 4-4.30am until late after isya' around 19.30-11pm for safety and security reasons. The environmwnt is very welcoming. We have seen brothers from Arab countries, African nations, Asians even the Russian speaking brothers like Kazakhs and Kyrgystan.. Mainly Bangladeshi brothers who look after and management of the masjid. Undesirable incidents do happen sometimes but the love and affection to maintain the Islamic brotherhood is strong here. Allah's pleasure is our destiny. No one owns the House of Allah. Love and Taqwa is the best ingredient to unite this ummah. May Allah blesses us all!!!!

Decent community and welcoming environment. Best mosque to be at in Los Angeles. Go to Fridays here . Imams are good with their khutbas . Always guiding people to peace and kindness. They don’t talk about if you do this or that, you will go to hell and burn unlike some of scary imams 🤣Children are happy to be in this community which is a major + for a parent to see her/his child actually loving to be at a mosque. Teachers are kind and welcoming. Staff is really loving , sincere and helpful .

Clean, organized, and welcoming—this mosque is a quiet pillar in the ever-busy narrative of Los Angeles.

Salam My name is Abdussalam and I'm from Indonesia. Alhamdulillāh, Imam Said of ath-Thohir masjid in Kenmore introduced me to this humble masjid and I've been visiting it whenever I'm in the neighborhood. I found the atmosphere to be serene and peaceful. The people I see the most attending the daily Salah are mostly elderly and a handful of youth. They are a mix of nationalities with Bangladesh being the dominant one. One particular incident that will not stop me from coming was when someone tossed my shoes in the parking lot. It turned out that I, in a hurry to be able to join the ashr congregation, just took off the shoes at the shoe rack without putting them in the shoe rack. Not long after a brother came up to me and in a courteous manner informed me that my shoes were tossed out. So I went out the masjid and put the shoes in the rack. I'm glad a brother would go at length to remind me how to properly put my shoes away. MasyaAllāh

Los Angeles Islamic Center is a mosque.
