As a first time patient, I was impressed with the positive atmosphere that the staff provided both in the lobby and in the back. Very gentle during teeth cleaning. Attentive to their patients. Would recommend to anyone looking for a dentist. Love the fact that they take walk-ins because emergencies always happen when it comes to the care of your teeth.

I came here as a new patient to get a cleaning and to get examined for tooth pain. The dentist I saw said based off of how I was describing the pain, I needed a root canal but he said “let’s do something more conservative and start with replacing the filling in the tooth that is bothering you”. I let a few days pass and I called back asking for just the root canal. I called 3 days later asking for an update from the message I sent and they told me “the assistant hasn’t had a chance to get the message to the doctor because he is very busy”. I finally gave up and went in for the filling to see if it would alleviate some pain. I went in for the filling appointment just to be told by the same doctor that the tooth that he said let’s put a filling in needs a Root Canal and I left without any care done to me. I went 10 DAYS without a call back from anyone. I left in tears because of how frustrating this whole thing was I called asking for the root canal he said I probably needed and not a single person called me back. Mind you I’m 18 weeks pregnant and I can’t use any type of numbing agent in my mouth like Orajel and I’ve been sitting here for almost 2 weeks since my first appointment in pain. As a medical professional, I am very displeased with the professionalism of this clinic. Didn’t even get told a “sorry” about not getting a call back. Staff is super nice but someone in this clinic fumbled and I suffered for it.

I’ve been a patient here for many years. Even though I’m sad Dr Marino has retired, I know I’m in good hands with my new dentist. The entire team always takes the best care of me and whether it’s a routine cleaning or something more, they always make sure I’m comfortable. (And my hygienist Amy is the best!) Thank you Louisiana Dental for taking good care of this scaredy cat.
