I can’t recommend Dr. Ahmed highly enough! He is by far the best dentist and oral surgeon in Sydney. I had to have all four of my wisdom teeth removed, and the procedure was incredibly tricky due to the condition of my teeth. Despite the complexity, Dr. Ahmed completed the surgery in under an hour, and everything went smoothly. His skill and precision are outstanding. Dr. Ahmed also genuinely cares about his patients’ long-term health. After my surgery, he recommended two follow-up appointments to monitor my recovery. I only managed to make it for one, but when I returned 7 months later with a minor issue, he checked my teeth again at no extra cost, which speaks volumes about his commitment to care. When I mentioned some discomfort with my front teeth, he offered practical, affordable solutions that made all the difference. I’m so grateful for his expertise and excellent patient care. If you need a top-tier dentist or oral surgeon, Dr. Ahmed is the one to see. He’s simply the best of the best!

My review is lengthy, but well worth the read for anyone who is hesitant to embark on their dental journey. The experiences I had prior to visiting Lumiere were both disappointing and nerve wracking. I had literally delayed this surgery for decades, purely because I was fearful and nervous, and I worried so much about the process and outcome. I read the reviews on the Lumiere Dental and Implants Centre over and over and finally took the plunge and booked in. After meeting Dr Elkhatib, and looking at the x-rays he had taken, he discovered I had an impacted canine (eye tooth), which was very close to my sinus cavity and a retained baby canine. I had two implants - the first one to restore the canine and the other one was a first premolar tooth. The surgery was was done simultaneously, with both the baby tooth and canine removed and implant installed with both bone and gum grafting to ensure I would have an even smile line. There are truly no words that can describe what an amazing human he is, who is not only a master at what he does, but also a genuinely dedicated surgeon who makes you feel comfortable and reassured. He is a perfectionist in every sense. My teeth are now perfect and I could not be more thankful to Ahmed and his wonderful staff, and have already passed his details on to some friends who have complex dental issues. If there is any advice I can give, it is please go and see him, it has been life changing for me.

I recently went to Dr Ahmed and team for a complex dental procedure and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Despite me feeling very anxious beforehand, the friendly team made me feel at ease. Everything went smoothly and the recovery was far better than expected (no pain at all!) thanks to Dr Ahmed's skills. His professionalism and passion for his work is impressive. I cannot speak highly enough of Dr Ahmed and his incredible care and expertise. I recently underwent 3 intense surgical procedures under his guidance, a sinus lift ,a bone and a gum graft. Dr Ahmed successfully placed 3 new implants in my case which had been refused by 2 high profile specialists in Sydney. He took his time to explain every step of the process, and because of his empathetic nature ,it made the whole journey easier to navigate.
