Luminous Skin & Laser

So I have been going to this clinic for over three years. Due to previous diagnosis, I stay diligent in maintaining my 6-month follow-up schedule. But this last year the clinic has changed. Dr Botha now books 2 patients every 10 minutes and repeatedly falls so behind that people have to wait anywhere from 30 minutes to 60 minutes PAST their appointment time to get in. I thought the day I went was just an off day, so I rebooked, and this happened 2 more times!! Patients have jobs too! Receptionists don't care AT ALL! Nurses, defend stating that you should expect to wait because she is a specialist. If I was late or missed my appointment, the clinic charges me $50!

Dr Botha has been very helpful so far but I was extremely disappointed with the professionalism today. Every appt I’ve had with them I’ve had to wait over 30min just to get into a room. I’ve even had to wait an 1.5h after my appt time to get in. After sharing my concerns with the front desk, I was told that they’re just busy, and she likes to be thorough. However, simple solution would just be to book your patients more time instead of making us wait. Then in my appt the doctor lectures me on how busy she is and how much she works and how I should complain to the government if I have a problem with waiting. Then told me if I don’t like waiting then I should go see a different doctor instead. This behaviour is extremely shocking and disappointing, I’ve never had a doctor speak to me like this.

Dr.Botha and Nadira her assistant were so wonderful and professional! Dr.Botha is known well for her thorough work at the cancer centre. She always goes beyond and above with her work and time. She fully dedicates herself in her work, and is always so consistent. I can’t thank you enough for everything! Your kindness, your patience and being so thorough with my body. Nadira her assistant is incredible as well. So grateful to you ladies!
