» Customer Experiences:
I’ve had a few services done here before with different stylists just because I’m queen of last minute. They are friendly, affordable, and I have always been happy with my cut, wax and highlights.
Went into the salon tonight after speaking with a gentleman on the phone about bringing my 2 year old son in for a haircut. He said I could bring him in so I did. He explained that sometimes children that young get scared but I explained that he has had his haircut before and he actually does very well! He said we could bring him in. When we got there, the one lady walked right up to us and we said that we just wanted to get our sons hair cut. All she said to us was “not tonight” and didn’t offer any type of explanation whatsoever. I explained how I was told I could bring him in by the gentleman I had spoke to on the phone. She said oh and then told us not until 7pm. Which I find funny considering she originally told us “not tonight”. I know she just didn’t want to bother with a young child based off the looks she was giving and probably thought he wouldn’t be able to sit still. She didn’t even ask us if he had ever had a haircut before or how he does. Just assumed! She was VERY rude! I didn’t get her name but she was of a different ethnicity. Needless to say, we didn’t get the haircut as it was 6pm and we didn’t want to wait for an hour with a toddler who’s bedtime is 7:30 and we won’t be going back there! We usually go to “Scissor Over Comb” and they do an AMAZING job and are really good with young kids and don’t shy away from a challenge! Not that my son is challenging when we go because like I mentioned earlier, he does really well with haircuts! They even have a little car for them to sit in and a tv to watch while they are getting their haircut. If you need a cut for your child GO THERE!! You won’t be disappointed! The only reason we came to Total Beauty is because we were at the mall anyway and we have an appointment booked at Scissor Over Comb but not for another week and a half! Just goes to show, they are busy because they are so good! Avoid Total Beauty at all costs. They are rude and unprofessional. If you’re going to cut hair - don’t shy away from cutting kids hair! And don’t be so rude to your customers!!!! Try asking questions before just assuming!
Sofia is a true professional. Every time I come, she does exactly what I ask for, she is great at listening to the client. My hair looks incredible and just the way I want it, even other people notice it. She also does a great job with the hairdryer and brush, her movements are very professional. I will recommend her to every girl!
