My husband and I had a deeply upsetting experience at The Hair Studio and Spa. We walked in simply to inquire about booking a haircut, as the sign outside said they were accepting new clients. However, the lady at the front desk was incredibly rude and dismissive. She told us the place was "reserved for elite people" and that we should go to a corner barber shop instead. To make matters worse, she kept dismissing my husband with a backward wave, as though he were a beggar, making the entire interaction even more insulting. Her attitude was demeaning, and it was clear she had no respect for us. We couldn’t help but feel that this behavior was due to the color of our skin, which makes the situation even more hurtful. All we wanted was to ask about making an appointment, but instead, we left feeling insulted and humiliated. No one should ever be made to feel like they are less than anyone else, especially based on appearance. This incident has left us deeply disappointed, not only with the establishment but also with how it reflects on the community we live in. It’s sad to see this kind of treatment still happening. I hope the management of this salon takes a long, hard look at how they treat potential clients and makes the necessary changes to ensure no one else goes through such an experience.

Easy booking. I had an exceptional hair stylist. I was so happy with my hair treatment and cut! My hair hasn't felt or looked this healthy/beautiful in ages (longer than I care to admit!). The service is always wonderful. Would recommend!
