Customer experiences
I have been coming to the Macomb mall since the time I could grab an Orange Julius and a movie back in the 1970s. In this era of closures post-COVID, I am delighted to find the mall still standing and being a place where I’m still compelled to shop and support the retailers. Thank you, management, for maintaining this iconic mall.
Went to buy golf balls, 1 cash register open, line was 20 people deep. Put the balls back and left. Unacceptable. I can order on Amazon and get them as quick. Open up some cash registers.
I think this mall is even more mid than Partridge but now that Lakeside is gone this is all we have, locals know what’s up when I say that. The food options are disappointing to say the least, I don’t think there is a single place to get something that isn’t a pastry or a pretzel within the mall. Yet then the plaza is cluttered with restaurants outside. More-into the mall and its patrons. I think the design is sloppy but strangely unforgettable, it’s very awkwardly wide with lots of empty space. On busy days you’ll see those young tik tok influencers running up to people pressing them very hard to be in their street interview. I don’t know, it’s disappointing. I thought a little higher of this mall when I was younger, but between this and Lakeside it was and will always be Lakeside.
It’s a nice casual small mall has the stores I need. Everyone keeps to themselves which is nice.
Macomb Mall is a shopping mall.
