Pretty cool place! The food was tasty. I had the Cajun style biscuits and gravy. It was a great combination of spicy and flavorful. The venue was clean and modern. The service was fairly slow. We waited a fairly long time after being seated before a server came over to take our order. Once we got the order in things sped up a bit.

Went for brunch with our family. Our server was super sweet and attentive. The Fried Green Tomatoes were amazing, honestly the best app ever. Very good!!! We also got deviled eggs which were also good. Kids meal size was generous. Great experience!

We stopped here for brunch as we were passing thru Wichita. My husband had the chicken and waffles my brother had the hash. They both enjoyed their meal. I had the salad, thank goodness I ordered the side portion rather than the entree size. As I began eating I noted a strange texture. The dressing was lovely, the candied nuts were nice. The lettuce was bad. I pick out pieces that were brown on the end, pieces that were nothing but slime, finally I just gave up. Clearly whomever prepared the salad did not check the lettuce, as it should have been tossed in the compost bin and not served. So, if you eat at Magnolia Cafe- avoid the salad.

Magnolia offers a more upscale yet relaxed atmosphere for dining. It's definitely not one of those overly noisy, hard to talk types of places. It's a perfect mixture of upscale atmosphere that meets down home southern food. The bloody Mary had a Cajun kick, and they offer signature mimosas such as blueberry lemonade. The chicken and waffles were a welcome staple, but don't be afraid to try something more adventurous. The vegetarian hash was delish, to my surprise! Full of flavor and texture. Don't forget to start with the fried green tomatoes! You can't go wrong!!
