Customer experiences
Got to this past week - now under new ownership. Same, cozy breakfast spot feel. Been coming here for over 10 years now. Food quality has improved dramatically. It was good before. Even better now. Prices are up a bit as well, but that’s expected. Also definitely worth it because the quality speaks for itself . Might be the BEST breakfast spot in Marlborough now for sure . A must try !
Please follow us on Facebook at SNDTRAVELS and EATWELLTRAVELOFTEN 7.21.25 breakfast Service was friendly but somewhat distracted. I had the florentine omelet with bacon and Diane had 2 eggs and a English muffin. The omelet was very good as well as her scrambled eggs. I had the low carb version so it didn't have the home fries and toast. While the food was good I found the pricing a little much. For a 2 egg omelet and 2 scrambled eggs with tip it was $40+ Everything is recommended but the cost.
Loved the atmosphere and the staff, absolutely surprised by the food. Win, win, win! If you want a delicious challenge, order the Fat boy burger!
I got a cup of turkey soup and a cheeseburger and fries. The turkey soup was okay, the flavor was a little confusing. It seemed like the person making it wasn't quite sure what direction they wanted to go with it; like a traditional chicken soup or more of an Italian wedding soup. It landed somewhere in the middle. But, it was hearty and clearly homemade. My cheeseburger was very attractive and a healthy handful. Lettuce and tomato were fresh and crisp. Bun was nice. The burger itself was cooked perfectly. My only comment would be that I don't think that the meat was seasoned at all. The fries were absolutely perfect. They were shoestring style, golden and fried beautifully. The issue that would make me hesitant to return was the server's response to my food allergy. Each time I stressed that being exposed to the item I am allergic to would end in my having anaphylaxis, the server said, "Got it, no (name of food)." That REALLY didn't make me confident that the server understood what a food allergy is or that my eating something I am allergic to could end in my death.
Main Street Cafe is a cafe.
