I first discovered Black Frame Photos in early 2018, after an underwhelming experience with another photographer for my engagement shoot. That disappointment pushed me to search for someone who could not only deliver high-quality work, but also truly connect with people and understand their vision. At the time, I was attending a lot of weddings and had a very specific style in mind. The one signature shot that completely sold me? The Vogue pose. When I saw a friend post her wedding party photos with that exact look, I immediately had to know who her photographer was! And that’s how I found Johnny. One of the things I appreciated most on my wedding day was how seamlessly Johnny worked with my husband. He kept the process smooth, quick, and efficient. Exactly what you need on a busy, high-pressure day. He also asked all the right questions beforehand, giving us just the right amount of creative control while still bringing his own professional touch. Since then, BFP has been my go-to for nearly every milestone: maternity photos, baptism, family holiday portraits, professional headshots, and my son’s first birthday. Johnny and his team have captured some of my most important life moments, and I can’t put into words how grateful I am to have these memories preserved so beautifully. Hiring the team at BFP was one of the easiest choices I ever made. Having seen some of their previous work, I inquired about their services despite being a Dallas local (they travel!) and spoke with Johnny, the owner and lead photographer.
