Masterbuilt did a great job for me and my home. I used to have 3 tab shingle roof with white gutters. When Don and Garrett sat down with me, they had made some awesome suggestions I didnt know about at the time. I followed their lead and ended up with a great product that gave my house a nice face lift. They converted my old style vents to new ridge cap vents. So much more efficient, even noticed a lower electricity bill compared to last years summer. I work for home so I was able to see the progress throughout the day. They laid down quality felt, special material in the valleys of the roof. Made an awesome suggestion of a clear tinted skylight. Provided quality architectural shingle for a small price difference compared to 3 tab. Made an awesome suggestion of selecting, not upgrading $$, but selecting bronze gutters. Most importantly their guys did a great job cleaning up afterwards. Garrett was my project manager, he did a great thorough job of following up and inspecting the job after. We had a hail storm shortly after install and he made a special trip to make sure the new roof was fine even after telling him it was necessary. Was committed to tearing it all off and replacing it if not. Its been 6 months since they have completed the job. Just hung up the phone with Don the owner and said he was reviewing my bill and noticed an error in billing and they sent out a check. The job has been done. I was a happy customer. There was absolutely no reason why he had to do that but he did. Cant go wrong with selecting Masterbuilt for whatever project it is you are needing a contractor for. They do not deserve even 1 star. This company installed the roof on my mother's home and it was a disaster. The work is terrible and they are unprofessional. The project manager quit, after they received payment, but before the work was completed. No one notified us. We had to call them and ask when they were going to complete the work. The smart Alec secretary asked why we didn't try harder to find a way to reach them. I have a question for you. Why didn't you behave professionally and contact us, like a normal business? You sure took that payment quickly. The roof leaked immediately. It rained a day or two after installation and the dripping started within minutes. There is a huge stain on the ceiling now. The vent was damaged. They sent someone here with filthy, used, rusted parts, which were the wrong parts anyway, to do repairs. He didn't speak a word of English so he didn't understand what he had couldn't be used. He just kept saying,"Fix it." Communication then stopped. I will never recommend this company to anyone. If they were the only company available, I'd use tarps until someone else was!

DOESN’T DESERVE ANY STARS!! We closed on our house last month on the 7th. It was a VA home loan & house was inspected and everything was GREAT. With that being said, the previous owners had a new roof installed by “Masterbuilt Roofing”. It was completed July 2021, which included a 3 year warranty. Hurricane ida came and with the rain we had noticed a leak in the master bedroom & bathroom. We’ve contacted this company multiple times! The first time they came out they said it was the storm cap, they replaced it. It rained and we still had a leak. So the guy put a towel and bucket up in the attic after pointing out a small leak in the roof and said they would come back when it wasn’t raining to fix it. Since then I’ve called everyday because we had mold growing and the damage has been worse. After contacting the owner (that’s me & our insurance company contacting them) they finally came out today. NOW THAT THE DAMAGE HAS BEEN SITTING FOR OVER A MONTH, they claim it was from the HVAC system. Our HVAC had just been cleaned & serviced in June and has been up kept every year. It was also inspected thru our home buying process and it was great. After all of this today the roofing company called once they left my home and said they would no longer honor the warranty on the brand new roof they completed because a hurricane happened. There was absolutely no damage noted to our home from the hurricane. We are having another roofer come out Thursday but I would highly suggest staying away from masterbuilt roofing! This was just an excuse to not fix the damage that they had caused to our home. We plan to talk with attorneys!! Highly recommend to not use this company or recommend it. Save your thousands of dollars on a new roof and go with another company! Also damage is now worse then these photos due to the rain in the past month.
