Had roof done in March 2023. Was good to deal with and actually showed up (somehow a plus in today’s contractor market), our roof had some decking issues and he did good work to deal with and seal it up, and even gave us a 10 year warranty. One of my concerns was shingles blowing off, as we get crazy winds on my property, he assured me newer shingles can withstand higher winds and if they did blow off he would be there to fix them, awesome. Now where the low rating comes in: he did our roof in early spring and there was still snow. He said he would come back when it melted to clean up the nails and finish the fascia work he committed to, first rain we had a small, but constant leak at the sewer stack, messaged him numerous times over 3-4 months he said he would come at first, never did. We picked up over a gallon bucket of nails from the grass and I had to go up myself and fix the leak that was clearly caused by not seating the collar around the stack properly, also sealed up a few exposed nails while I was up there. This year we had some ridge cap blow off in a wind storm and I again messaged him, he no longer responds at all. I can see when he reads the messages just won’t respond anymore. Stuff happens and warranties exist for a reason; but sadly, once he got the big pay cheque I never saw him again. Other companies charge around $600 per service call to come to do repairs so calculate that into his quotes…

Roof done in Sept 2023, receipt finally issued July 28, 2024. Update. Threatens my family. Update. Still no receipt. Went on the roof today and it looks terrible. Going to need a reputable company to fix this disaster. Lack of communication should have been my first clue. Didn’t show up on the day booked. Didn’t reach out until I did. Didn’t replace plywood on roof as requested. Has still not issued a receipt (over a month later), not for lack of asking. I’ve been ghosted. Didn’t realize when I came up with the cash for the cash quote it would mean I wouldn’t get a receipt and there for no warranty as I was told I would get. Figures since the plywood wasn’t replaced.

Masterworks roofing did our roof 3 years ago and it still looks as good as the day it was done. They were fast, efficient and the price was exactly as quoted. Highly highly recommended.

I had a horrible experience trying to find a good roofer this summer until I found these guys at Masterworks Roofing, very honest and professional and well priced too. I definitely recommend this company.
