I have nothing but praises for this company. So glad I found them. I'll never go anywhere else for any plumbing issues we may have. Cameron and Harrison, you guys were awesome. Andrea...you were so kind and sweet to help me.

The guys were here on time and were very professional. They worked well together and had my heat pump in no time. Chris and Ram were great. Would recommend them to my clients and family.

I can't say enough about these guys.. caring, empathetic and got the job done in a timely manner. Went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, even came back on personal time to help us understand the mechanics of our new equipment. Highly . recommended.

Avoid, avoid, avoid. I don't often post reviews, but I feel the need to warn others about this company. They're either charlatans or racketeers. Let me explain. At the beginning of April I noticed my gas furnace wasn't turning on and my house was getting cold. I called Matrix Mechanical and they promptly sent over 2 technicians who diagnosed the problem within 5 minutes: it was a fault with the inducer motor. I was bluntly warned that these can potentially cost thousands to replace. The technicians left only a few minutes later, and since it's company policy to charge a minimum of one service hour, I paid $150 for a hasty 8 minutes on-site. This isn't even close to the bad part. I received an estimate for the total parts and service two days later: $2,612.80 including tax. The estimate listed 6 different action items, but none of them were itemized, so their respective costs were not clear. I decided to wait until the end of summer to proceed—maybe I could find the replacement motor for cheaper myself. 5 months later, I spoke about the costly repair with a handy friend. He asked me how the furnace was behaving. I told him: motor was trying to start, making a humming noise, but the fan wouldn't start on its own. He said, 'just sounds like a bad capacitor, look into it. This is HVAC 101.' Turns out the capacitor is conveniently strapped to the outside of the motor, costs about $20 new, and takes about 10 minutes to replace. I ordered one with high hopes, installed it myself with only a screwdriver about an hour ago, and the furnace now starts normally and runs as smoothly as ever. Take that in: That's a total of $44 with one-day shipping costs, rather than $2,612.80 in the pockets of the 'professionals' at Matrix Mechanical. I just spoke with my friend again to thank him and asked about what the benefit of the doubt might be in my dealings with this company. He said, 'well, they might have made judgments about the age of the motor. But I don't understand why they wouldn't have at least checked the capacitor. Any technician worth their salt would know to first check the cap in this situation.' It's apparent from the other reviews on here that other people have had positive experiences with this company, so it must not always be this bad. But in this case, boy is it ever bad. I feel relieved to be saving the money, but I'm angry with Matrix Mechanical, who in this case were clearly either incompetent or sleazy. If you have any doubts or concerns about being fleeced in such a way by service technicians, avoid this company.
