Gorgeous restaurant, loved the interior and the service was great. The food was lackluster and overpriced. Didn’t really care for the causes that came with the protein dishes like the duck skewer and lamb dish. Don’t recommend the beef tartare at all, it was very soupy and tasted more like tomatoes. However, the dessert is where it’s at. Highly recommend the masa ice cream with cherry caramel.

Plain and simple: The Town Company is the best restaurant in Kansas City. The hyper-seasonal perfectly executed menu, paired with exceptional hospitality in a warm and comfortable environment put this place in a class of its own. No matter the occasion, you will be taken care of here. The buns are an absolute must-order, every time. The smoked pork chop might just be the best you’ve ever had. The entire menu is perfect for sharing, and make sure you save room for dessert because it is also top-notch. Beverage program is fantastic with great cocktails and nicely curated wine list. Above all it’s the hospitality that keeps us coming back. Please never change Town Company, you are perfect.

My wife and I stayed in the Hotel Kansas City back in 2020 and we were very impressed by The Town Company. After several years, when we have our dinner tonight here again, the dining experience is one of the best. The chef and staff are very friendly. We had hot buns(must try),halibut, ribeye steak, endive salad and black sesame almond cake. We love every dish we order. Every dish is perfectly cooked and delicious.
