I couldn’t be happier with the work Jeff has done. My range hood was installed incorrectly by a previous contractor, and Jeff not only fixed the problem but also corrected the mess they left behind. He was extremely polite, professional, and genuinely considerate of his customers. Jeff even took the time to help me with a few small fixes along the way. He also custom-built an attic door for me, and the craftsmanship is excellent. It’s rare to find someone who is this skilled, detail-oriented, and trustworthy. Jeff is truly the best contractor I have ever met, and I strongly recommend him to anyone who needs high-quality work done right the first time.

I had such a positive experience with Jeff and Rob. I refinished two sets of very old and warped stairs. They came out, did a walk through, set my expectations for cost and timeline. We worked together to determine the best thing to do was to replace one full set of stairs and refinish my entryway floor. They were able to accommodate it all. They were super communicative, always on time, beyond polite and respectful - especially on days when I had to work from home. They were dependable and meticulous with the job. They truly went above and beyond and touched up walls and trim that were not part of the scope. The stairs were functional and the house was clean at the end of each day. They came back a week after the job was finished to do touch ups and seriously went thru with a fine tooth comb and made sure everything was perfect. Jeff and Rob bring an exceptional level of expertise and experience to their work, and they are incredibly client-centered in their approach to each project. After a few consultations with other companies (and getting the runaround on pricing and timing), I came across McKinnon — they were completely transparent about all aspects of the scoped project, which was extremely refreshing. Their team is fantastic, and it really showed in the quality of their craftsmanship. We had new cabinets installed, and one of the most challenging aspects of the project was the removal and reinstallation of a large granite countertop (20 feet long). They successfully reinstalled it without any damage — something other companies were unwilling to guarantee. Everything turned out great, and they ensured our condo was spotless and free of dust after the work. I can’t recommend McKinnon enough — trustworthy, highly skilled, and just all-around great guys!
