The Dentists and Hygienists at Mclaughlin Dental really are the best. From the minute you walk in, you can expect professional, personal service and care. Harmony is the absolute sweetest and most caring Hygienist I've ever had clean my teeth. Dr Z is a repair wizard! I know I'm in good hands when I go to Mclaughlin Dental! Best care for your mouth in the Kawarthas!

First I’ll explain why I’ve given 2/5 stars. The two stars go to the 2 dentist and one receptionist who are absolute gems of the earth. They each deserve 5 stars alone. My family and I have been going here since we moved to Lindsay back in 2019 and everything has always been great! However I did not have a great experience the last time I was in. I suffer from pretty serious mental health issues around anxiety. I’m prone to anxiety attacks which was brought on by my last visit. I didn’t have my usual hygienist who is very calm compassionate understanding and goes slow with me. Instead I was with a woman named harmony who rushed, was short with me, had a lack of empathy (even after I told her I was having an anxiety attack) and on top of showing zero compassion when I told her to stop and I needed a minute instead she berated me as such “OK I need to document this then, it goes on your file bla bla” it was extremely rude and the tone she had with me was super unprofessional. I felt like I was being written up for doing a bad job at work?! Let me just mention this was also do to her not being able to finish just one tooth (due to my pain tolerance around that one tooth) it was my choice, I’m the client and I’m listening to my body - why am I being made to feel reprimanded when you should be offering support. I was also very upfront the whole appointment about my anxiety. Which I felt was just brushed off. It was such a terrible experience by the time I was at the front paying I broke down in tears. The receptions that told me her daughter also has anxiety and showed me so much compassion while I was paying is an actual angel on earth. We need more people like that and less like Harmony. My husband was also very upset to see the state that I was in afterward, called the front desk to pull us both and our 3 year old son out of their client list. He did not receive any sympathy, an apology, or even a “how can we make this better and keep your business” he did not get the same receptionist that showed me support and compassion. Disappointed in the some of the staff employed here. Do better people.

Dr. Brierley and his team are wonderful. Very thorough, professional, respectful and friendly. Highly recommend this dental clinic!
