I had lip filler treatment in 2019 with Rebecca Warrant at the Harley medical group and from the moment I looked in the mirror within the clinic, I noticed my lips were uneven. I was told to wait for the swelling to subside, but here we are in 2025, and the unevenness remains. When I raised my concerns, I was informed that the clinic had gone into liquidation and was offered the option to pay again at a partner clinic called Skin for corrective work. I refused to pay for another treatment, especially since I had no issues with unevenness before the procedure. I now discover that despite my complaint and others she has become the manager. Despite being told the clinic had closed, it seems to be operating again—along with numerous negative reviews. The Juvederm she injected never fully dissolved, despite assurances that it would. I've compared childhood and adult photos, and there was no unevenness before the treatment. Now, I’m left with a botched result and forced to pay for corrective work elsewhere. I waited 6 years and can now say with full confidence it does not fully dissolve. I strongly advise anyone considering this clinic to proceed with caution. They take no responsibility for their work, and it’s clear they prioritize profit over customer care. Furthermore there is now research documenting such cases of botched treatments, migration of lip fillers, and even studies using facial scans that clearly show fillers are still present many years later. I am so grateful for that research because too many practitioners deny this being the case, too many go on to exploit clients by making them pay again to dissolve their work. It's also worth mentioning that many doctors and nurses will not dissolve someone else's work but will refill or top you up, very problematic.
I DO NOT recommend booking with this clinic. I lost nearly £400 with unhonoured vein laser treatment at Skn. They went into@liquidation in July after encouraging me to buy a laser package of 3 on 26 April. I only completed 2 x sessions. They kept cancelling and the old laser machine broke down on the day I turned up. I feel it is highly suspect that the Group Medical Director of London and South East for over 20 years at Harley Street, who did my treatment and discussed the payment package was not aware of their financial difficulties. They have essentially re-registered and it is the same staff at Harley street. They will not honour packages paid for. It is a risk. I'm very disappointed and saved hard to pay for my vein treatment. I will be making a formal complaint to the General Medical Council.
Went for laser verucca treatment 3 times with no improvement (in fact it worsened). They only shrugged and said that it sometimes just doesn’t work and I should change my shoes.
I had a hyaluronic acid injection at SKN in February 2025. The treatment resulted in a month of unbearable pain and suffering, two abscesses on the chin, scarring, and taking antibiotics and painkillers. The clinic medical team doesn’t know how to deal with the issue, and I must pay for external consultants and lab tests to sort it out. The clinician injected four vials, knowing that this was a first treatment. I trusted him. The injections resulted in a large hematoma around the chin, which was accompanied by a significant swelling of the area from the chin to the mouth protruding into the mouth. The bruising (hematoma) reduced after one week; however, the area became hot, red, and painful. After contacting SKN, antibiotics and steroids are given to treat the infection. Antibiotics didn’t help; they were changed on two occasions, and steroids were discontinued. The lumps continued to be very painful and swollen until one produced discharge and erupted on 26/02/2025. The second lump swelled up and produced a discharge, and it was drained by a plastic surgeon on 5/03/2025. I am still not out of the woods as the third lump on my chin is swelling up. My ability to bite and chew is limited, resulting in pain. My speech is obstructed.
