Client from USA. Extremely disappointing experience. Lack of professional courtesy & commitment, not following through the pre-decided rates. 1) The monthly rates for future months included catching up on past months. But after 20 days, they deny it, and instead charge me full monthly fee on backdated months. No bookkeeping company even in US charge like that for catching up on past months. 2) NO single point of contact with decision making 3)Tried setting up several meetings to resolve the issues. Later, they booked a meeting - still their senior decision making POC Rushabh didn't show up, and instead wasted time following up with other juniors. They agreed to provide me another quote for catch up months of 2023 in 2 days but then they instead stopped responding completely. Got a refund of $100 plus a wasted month in waiting.

Avoid them at all costs, they quote you a monthly fee but after payment, they will send you email asking for substantial amount of money and blame it on "excess work" to be done. Cheaper and better options available on upworks.... Safer too

I wish I can give 0 stars if I could. We contracted Meru Accounting via Upwork. My experience had nothing been worst. There were lot of mistakes, and we paid for those mistakes. we finally took away all the work and paid other company to finish the job. Normally I do not write review, but we paid quite a sum for their mistakes. They do not have senior resource who will know your business, matter fact in some case we have to advise them how accounting works. if you are a client that is billed hourly, convert that to fixed price. More importantly if you are looking for senior resource, not the company I would hire. There were lot of apologies, but apologies can only go so far. There are better companies that will have more impact on your business. If you think they are cheaper, trust me when you account for time and your effort, you will end up paying more. Management will absolutely do nothing to resolve the situation. During your sales cycle you will meet CA, after that nothing but junior resources who will be working on your account. Was not going to write the review, but the level of fixes our current accountant did forced me to go this route. I wish i have provide you the proof, but if you are a prospective business, stay away as far as you can. You will save lot of headache.
