Customer experiences
Bakery/Bread department - customer service need training. I asked the staff why there has been no bread, I was granted by a look as if I asked an inappropriate question. There is almost never any bread made fresh, however the other metro locations have fresh bread daily. Need to drive to renfew to get fresh bread.
Was visiting from out of town, just wanted to grab a fresh made salad for dinner, but there was only one salad in the shelf available, which looked like it had been sitting for awhile. I did not purchase it. I ended up grabbing a bento box, which I found to be quite expensive for what was in it.
This review goes out to the meat dept, not the entirety of the store. Never have I been treated with such disrespect by seemingly a manager of this dept over a slab of brisket. Made me feel like an inconvenience asking about it, and made me feel incompetent asking about its price being given the response “No idea, brisket is brisket”. I likely would have bought the massive slab considering “this is the smallest size it comes in” if he wasn’t so disrespectful to a customer. Will never purchase meat from this dept again over this.
Small store, less competition / item availability. Usually busy at checkout. Aside from readily made items, not much better than No Frills. Usually puts out small-looking chickens with bigger price tags. Expensive!! Only worth going to when there are discounted items. Some things will make you double check the price tag.
Metro is a supermarket.
