After coming to MJ’a for 20+ years, we’ve given up on them and will never go back. Over the last 5 years, they have gone downhill. Slow decline in food quality and quantity, cleanliness, attentiveness, and now they are just unbearable. We’ve given them verbal and written feedback but with little care in response. The corn tortillas are straight up nasty, poor attention to overall food quality and accuracy fro the kitchen - it’s no longer worth the money (it’s a waste). And the cleanliness?? Just awful! And as one of the few places in town with outdoor seating, they frequently close it for “lack of servers”. Management doesn’t care or doesn’t actually know how to manage a restaurant and its employees. So, no more! Our hard earned cash will be spent somewhere else and we can NO longer recommend or support this local establishment. It makes us super sad. UPDATE - MJ’s, then PROVE it! Close down for a month to deep clean the restaurant, change management and have a hard core retraining. Ensure food is quality (throw those corn tortillas in the trash), stop allowing everyone from the top down to just settle for sub-par, raise expectations! Action is necessary, not just your lip service - we’re all watching what you choose to do next!

Stopped in before The Boys From Oklahoma concert. Food was good, service was awesome! And prices were great! We had 5 adults eating two of them had margarita's and our bill was far lower than expected. Pro tip, if you're going to drink more than 2 margarita's get the pitcher. The pitcher serves 5 is 15 bucks and a single marg is 7 bucks you do the math. We had two deals of queso a regular one and then the loaded and guac. Guacamole did not seem fresh made but it did the trick! Both quesos were yummy not as thick as I'd prefer but still worth the order and eat. My kids each had a form of chicken quesadilla, son in law fajitas husband enchiladas and I had crispy tacos. Not a single comaint was heard, everyone enjoyed what they ordered. If you order a soft drink or tea you get to take home your cup, always fun! If you haven't been don't sleep on this spot, atmosphere is fun, service is incredible, good is worth the stop!

Our family absolutely loves Mexico Joe’s! The food is always amazing—fresh, flavorful, and served hot. Their beverages are top notch, whether you’re grabbing a margarita or something non-alcoholic. The atmosphere is vibrant and fun, perfect for family dinners or casual nights out. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, which keeps us coming back every time we’re in Stillwater. Highly recommend!
