Midtown Animal Hospital

I got to volunteer today and walk Toby. He's a sweet old boy who is all about smelling everything and wanting to play with other dogs. He's great on leash! His chart says great with kids also. He really didn't want to go back in the shelter once he heard the other dogs. Poor old boy. Not sure what his situation was (dumped, living life on his own or what) he really didn't have any interest in being loved on or pet. Just enjoyed being free. 3 months to adjustbin hos new home and hos personality will shine. This place is amazing and if you can volunteer it helps them so much! Hope this senior gets a home fast! His bark/howl is pretty sweet too.

All of the staff is kind and helpful. They are really understaffed there, so it was great to see volunteers walking the dogs. Definitely be patient with the staff and take that into consideration! They are very kind and patient if you are understanding. I would recommend doing any extra paper work after adopting in person and keeping a copy of whatever documents you agree to. We adopted a dog named Riley and she has been a great girl. I was impressed with her manners as a pound puppy. She is good with babies and cats and listens so well.
