This dental office was a great find. Dr. Tidwell is competent, thorough, and very ethical - the needs of the patient come first. The hygienist I saw (Kim) is also very thorough and has an excellent touch. Everyone in the office is cheerful and the atmosphere is pleasant and informal. Moreover, the cost is reasonable. Just what I've been looking for!

It had been 6 years since I had been to a dentist, so had to fill out a new set of paperwork; the receptionist was very attentive, courteous and helpful during that process. The hygienist (Gena) who gave me my long-overdue cleaning was incredibly efficient, adept and friendly, and I was very pleased with how pain-free the process was. Dr. Tidwell was very amiable and knowledgeable and I am very glad that I have chosen Mid-Valley for my dentistry needs.

The entire staff at Mid Valley Dental is always top notch. They are always very friendly and do extremely good work. Lisa, (the front office person) is always allot of fun to talk with and she is always very helpful and accommodating. Brian Tidwell (my dentist) is the best dentist I have had and will be my dentist for the foreseeable future. He is very thorough and a bit of perfectionist, which makes for a great dentist. And he has great bedside manor and is very understanding of peoples situation. My dental hygienist is also great at her job. She takes time to explain everything to you so you know exactly what to expect and what is going on. And she gives great advice wherever she can on things that would help you. And she truly cares about her patients. Overall I really can't recommend them highly enough. I always steer any person I can in their direction. I have found a great home here for all my dental needs.

Update two + years later: Still all smiles. I actually look forward to these appointments. Kim is always ready with fresh ideas for home care and enthusiasms for successfully implementing her ideas. A joyful, considerate human. All the staff I've engaged with in conversation feel so much more like family with their encouragements and supportive tales, whether about teeth, or gardening, or where to go for what. I appreciate that Dr. Tidwell is fully involved, and checks my teeth after every cleaning. Really a family practice with an open-hearted inclusion feel. Heartfelt thanks from me and the spouse, going on three years now! PAST REVIEW BELOW: All the smile emojis! Kim does an excellent job on my teeth and gum massage, all the while checking that the temperature is fine and finding enjoyable topics to discuss during a pause. I am also impressed with Dr. Tidwell and his efforts at bettering teeth in countries with poor healthcare. The receptionist staff was all ready with my insurance and clarified some questions as well. I will recommend Mid-valley Dental to anyone who askes.
