I recently (in April) went in for a cleaning, and the treatment itself was good. However, my experience with the staff handling insurance and payments was very disappointing. The administrative team was unprofessional and lacked transparency. I had signed the form for secondary insurance during my visit, but about a month and a half later, I received a call asking me to come in and sign it again—without any explanation of what went wrong with the original form. Although I received multiple phone reminders, which can easily be missed, I never refused to cooperate. However, I never received any email outlining the reason, urgency, or even a formal request to come in again. Then, out of nowhere, I received a call and message threatening to send my balance to collections. This felt aggressive and completely unnecessary. When I called to understand the urgency, I was told the claim had already been submitted to the insurance company the previous week—so the threatening communication made no sense. The staff member I spoke with had no clear explanation for the inconsistency. This situation could have been handled with more kindness, clarity, and professionalism. I was always willing to resolve the issue and even offered to sign the form online—but no email or link was ever sent. Poor communication and a lack of accountability on the admin side completely ruined what could have been a smooth experience.
