Ian DearloveCalled in, having been blown off by some of the other places around Beverley - and then I was blown away! We had a MAJOR grinding noise from the rear brakes, and everywhere had said "Sorry - next week..." Normally, I'd accept this, but being here on holiday and facing a 250miles journey with dodgy brakes just wouldn't be safe. Danny told me "We may be able to squeeze you in this aft to have a look..." so I started to get my mobility scooter out of the boot so I could at least get back to where we were staying. I was joined shortly by a mechanic, and no sooner had I got my machine out of the boot, but the vehicle was off and onto the ramps. Within about 30mins, Danny called me to say that the brakes were FUBAR, it was a good job I called in, the price of the repair, and that it may well be finished before closing! Stunned, in a good way. I authorised the repair cost, and sure enough about 20mins before closing, Danny called again to say the work was done!!! Another quick dash across town, and happy as could be I drove back to our holiday let with a perfectly working car. I can't thank the people at Mill Lane Auto's enough. You all have saved my car, and possibly our lives. Amazing work, squeezed in around other things, to enable our stay to continue safely. Thanks to all of you.
