This review delineates my experience with the Miller Firm which dates back to July 2021. It's being written now because my case is over. I have no reason to reflect anything but my true experience in this review. I had written an elaborate email about my case and started emailing immigration consultants in both Edmonton & Calgary. I received many replies. Most were asking for a fee to do a consultation, along with not a single answer to my questions. Others answered some questions, asked for a paid consultation. Halyna’s response was different. She addressed my concerns in the email, directly and to the point. Then she suggested a consultation to discuss the case in more detail. Didn’t say it was paid or not, but based on her responses, it was a no-brainer. The rest is history. If you were ever involved in an immigration application, you will understand the following points: - The amount of paperwork involved is mind-boggling. Halyna and her team were there whenever they were needed for explanation/direction/help. - The details that you must pay attention to – to submit a “quality application” – require a full-time study if you were to do it on your own. Halyna and her team have awe-inspiring attention-to-detail, they managed to submit a quality application despite so many complications. - The waiting game started once the application was submitted. Got to give it to the IRCC they insulate themselves very well from contact with the applicants, which is extremely frustrating, especially when months go by and there are no updates. Halyna had our back there too. Explaining the process during calls, being patient with a million questions, and repeatedly advocating on your behalf. In the process very respectfully and elegantly refusing to abide by IRCC requests that were not by the book. I got the COPR earlier this week and any doubts I had about the kind of power Halyna wields with her knowledge are a thing of the past. - During Covid and the war in Ukraine, Halyna still managed to alleviate our concerns and be there for us. And for that we’re eternally grateful. In short, in a world where mediocrity is the standard in a lot of industries (I’m sure the legal services industry is no exception) This firm, in my humble opinion, sets a pretty high bar which others should aim for. Halyna gets a lot of mentions because to my understanding she's at the helm of the institution. But her standards in picking her teammates are a thing to commend here too. From Jiyae, to Anna, and others. I'm grateful. During our first call, I asked how come they have only positive reviews. Now I understand.

I would recommend Miller Immigration Law Firm to anyone that need their services. I went there for an issue and they gave me a listening ear and took my case and started working on it, immediately. I got my PR !!! My wife and I were both extremely happy with Halyna’s work and genuine care.
